We have changed the underlying structure of our data to better support large topics as well as provide a more flexable way of storing data. This will not only improve performance, it will also pave the way toward more powerful features in the future.

Big Topic Architecture

Previously, large topics would cause an entire server to slow down. The larger the topic, the slower things would get. With ezboard 64b8, this no longer will happen. We expect performance to improve across our entire network.

Also, in this release

• improved the speed of moving topics dramatically
• fixed a bug when moving topics
• made tree formats more intuitive in the way replies were deleted and added
• removed the 100 reply limit from FREE communities
• gave FREE ezboards the multiple page feature (previously for only Gold Communities)
• successfully migrated all data to a more powerful central database
