Using ezPost Formatting
With ezPost formatting, you can create interest in your posts with the same ease as using MS Word. At the click of a button, you can have bold text, different colored fonts and images inserted into your post using the code format of your choice.
How to Use ezPost Formatting
What do the buttons mean?
To use ezPost, start your post and use the buttons to create the post effects you want. When you click on any button – a window will pop-up with a text box. Type or paste your text and click OK to format it. To set the font color,type, and size make your selections from the dropdown menus and then click on the Set Font button.
For IE users (PC Only): You can first type out your whole post and then highlight sections to format with ezPost. Simply highlight the text to format and click the desired button to make the change.
Formatting Choices:
- Plain Text - No code will be executed with this format setting. You can still use emoticons in your post.
- ezCodes - All ezPost actions will be executed using ezcodes, including emoticons. This option is available only if ezCodes are allowed in that forum.
- HTML - All ezPost actions will be executed using HTML, including emoticons. This option is available only if HTML is allowed in that forum.
topHow do I use the emoticons section?
When using the ezPost tool all you need to do is click the emoticon image to the right of the posting box to insert it into your post. It will be coded into the post differently depending on your format selection. The Show and Hide radio buttons will be saved as your preference upon making the post. To keep the emoticon keystrokes from executing you can uncheck the Use Emoticons check box.
How do I turn on/off ezPost?
ezPost is automatically displayed at every community you visit that allows either ezcodes or HTML. If you do not wish to display the ezPost tool, simply select the Plain Text radio button in the posting interface and your preference will be saved.
