Deleting Cookies
Many problems related to staying logged can be traced back to bad/corrupt cookies. The quick and easy way to correct the problem is to delete your cookies and start fresh. Below is a quick tutorial, based on browser type, of how to delete your cookies.
Key Information
- After deleting your cookies you will need to login to your account again from the home page www.ezboard.com. This will reset your cookie for you.
- In IE 6, you can delete your cookies under tools>>internet options>>delete cookies.
How to Delete your Cookies
How to delete your cookies in Windows NT Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- Right click your My Computer icon on the desktop and select the Explore option.
- Click on your C: Drive.
- Next, click on the WinNT folder, then the Profiles folder, then the Administrator folder, and then the Cookies folder.
- Finally, on the right side of the window, find [username]@ezboard[number].txt and delete the file by hitting your delete key.

How to delete cookies in Windows 98 Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Right click your My Computer icon on the desktop and select the Explore option.
- Click on your C: Drive.
- Next, click on the Windows folder, and then the Cookies folder.
- Finally, on the right side of the window, find administrator@ezboard[number].txt and delete the file by hitting your delete key.

How to delete your cookies in Windows 98 & NT Netscape Navigator:
Please CLOSE Netscape Navigator before proceeding with these steps:
- Right click your My Computer icon on the desktop and select the Explore option.
- Click on your C: Drive (or your D: Drive or whichever disk-drive your My Documents folder is in- see Step Three)
- Next, click on the Program Files folder, then the Netscape folder, then the Users folder, and then the ezboard folder.
- Next, on the right side of the window, find cookies.txt and double-click the file with your mouse; this should open up a text file.
- Next, click on Search at the top of the menu bar and select Find.
- When the Find dialogue box pops up, type in ezboard.com in the space provided.
- Finally, you’ll see a line with ezboard.com highlighted. You will also see two more lines below the first highlighted line that include ezboard.com lines. Select all three lines and delete these lines by hitting the Delete button on your keyboard.
Note: Certain text (such as user name and password) and numbers may differ from user to user due to different user names, passwords, and computer settings.
