Theme Trading

Themes are a quick and easy way to customize the look and feel of your community. With Theme Trading functionality, you can trade custom-made themes with other Gold Communities. To share your theme or to find a new one - check out the Theme Trading forum at the ezboard Community Center.

Key Information

When importing a theme, keep in mind that you are replacing all customization on your board. You will not be able to undo the changes.
If you want to save the theme you have now before importing a new theme, you need to export your current theme and save it for future use.
The exported images will stay on whatever server you store them on now.
Once you export a theme and share the code it will remain public and other admins will be able to import it at any time.

How to export a theme

Log in to your Control Center and click on the My Community tab.
Click on the Theme Management button and you will see the header – Theme Exporter.
Check the boxes next to the customization that you would like exported (i.e. images, emoticons).
Click on the export checked button.
Take the code in the box and cut or copy it - First highlight all the code by pressing [CTRL]+[A] and then copy the text by pressing [CTRL]+[C] (or right click on your mouse and select copy from the menu).
Click the red arrows when finished.
To share your theme visit the Theme Trading forum at the Community Center and paste (CTRL + V) your theme in a new post OR
Save your theme as a text file to share with your friends. To do this open notepad and press [CTRL]+{V] to paste your theme and then save changes.

How to import a theme

Log in to your Control Center and click on the My Community tab.
Click on the Theme Management button.
You will see the Import A Theme link - click on it.
Paste the code for the theme into the text box and click the Save Changes button.
On the next page, check or uncheck box next to Also apply changes to all forums and click on the Save Changes button.
