Pruning

The Pruning feature allows you to delete old topics that have remained unchanged after a date specified by you. This feature will save you time and energy compared to deleting the topics manually. After you prune, the feature will remain inactive until you choose another date to prune the topics.

Key Information

• This will delete all topics unchanged since a given date. Do not use the pruning feature unless you are sure you would like to clean out a forum

How to Prune a forum

1. Log in to your Control Center and click the My Community tab.
2. Manage the correct community and scroll down to the Forum Specific Administration section.
3. Slect the forum you wish to change and click on the Topic Pruning button.
4. Select the date of your choice.
5. Enter your password in the space provided and click Save Changes.
