Hot Topic

Your users can locate and post to the hottest topics in your community. With this feature turned on, any topic over a set number of replies designated by the administrator, will receive a Hot Topic image. The image itself is also customizable. This feature is only available to Gold Communities.

Key Information

• You must have this feature turned on in your Control Center – to have the Hot Topic section of the Community Profile available.
• You set the number of posts that designates a Hot Topic.

How to turn on Hot Topic

1. Log in to your Control Center and click on the My Community tab.
2. Click on the Features Settings button and under the heading Hot Topic, check the box next to Enable Hot Topic.
3. In the text field provided, chose the number of replies that will designate a Hot Topic.
4. Click on the Save Changes button.

How to change the image for Hot Topic

You can change the Hot Topic image by forum.

1. Click on the My Community tab.
2. Scroll down to the Forum Specific Administration section, select a forum, and click on the Custom Images button.
3. Under the Hot Topic Image header, add the URL you would like to use for your image.
4. Click on the Save Changes button.
