ezcodes

The use of ezcodes in posts is very similar to using HTML, but can be more intuitive for novices. ezcodes are a specific set of abbreviated HTML formatting tags developed specifically for use on ezboard. The admin of the community chooses whether or not to allow ezcodes.

• Allowing ezcodes and disallowing HTML is a good security measure for your ezboard if you are not sure of your user base.

How to allow ezcodes in your community

1. Log in to your Control Center and click on the My Community tab.
2. Manage the correct community.
3. Scroll down to the Forum Specific Administration section of the My Community tab.
4. Select the forum you wish to change and click the Security Settings button.
5. Check the box next to Allow ezcodes in posts.
6. Click on the Save Changes button.
