Bulk Topic Commands

As an admin or moderator, you have a basic set of bulk topic commands to work with that allow you to perform the same action on several topics: close/reopen, delete, or move. Gold Communities also have stick/unstick, copy, and shadow move available in the Bulk Topic Commands menu. You can also close, move and delete single topics while in a topic thread. For more information, please see Topic Commands.

Key Information

  • You need to be a Moderator or an Administrator and also logged into your account to see these options.
  • You can turn it off/on at your community.

How to use Bulk Topic Commands

  1. Go to the topic listing page.
  2. Check the boxes next to the topics that you would like to change.
  3. Go down to the bottom of the page and select an action (Delete, Move, Release, Close, Reopen, etc.) from the drop down menu.
  4. Click on the button labeled, Do It when you are finished.
