Sticky Topic

This feature allows moderators and administrators to designate topics they would like to "stick" at the top of a specific forum. It's ideal for posting announcements or making sure important discussions stay at the top of a forum. Sticky topic is a Gold Community feature.

Key Information

• You must be a Moderator or an Administrator to use this feature.
• You can stick a topic through Bulk Topic Commands and the regular Topic Commands inside the topic.
• You can have as many sticky topics as you want.
• You can change the sticky topic image as well.
• Before unsticking a topic – make sure to edit it to make sure it stays on Page 1 of your forum.
• You cannot order your sticky topics.

How to stick a topic – with bulk topics and regular topic commands:

Regular topic commands

1. Go to the forum where the topic exists.
2. Check the topic you wish to make sticky.
3. Click on the radio button next to Stick/Unstick and click Do It. You will be asked to confirm your action.
4. To unstick a topic, apply the same procedure above to a current sticky topic.

Bulk topic commands

1. Go to the topic listing page.
2. Check the boxes next the topics that you would like to change.
3. Go down to the bottom of the page and select Stick/Unstick from the dropdown list and click Do It. You will be asked to confirm your action.

How to change the Sticky Topic image

1. Log in to your Control Center and click on the My Community tab.
2. Manage the correct community and scroll down to the Custom Images button.
3. You can enter the URL of your image next to the box, Sticky Topic Image.
4. Click on the Save Changes button.
