You will not experience any of the benefits of being a Gold Community. After the 30-day Gold Community Trial period is over your community will still exist, but you will lose all of the Gold features and ads will return to your ezboard.
Yes. Only administrators have the authority to act on behalf of their communities. But with the Community Chest feature you can collect funds from your users to ease the financial burden.
Do I have to pay extra if I go over my page view limit?
No, think of your subscription price as prepaid for the next three, six, or twelve months. No matter how much your traffic increases during that time period you will never be charged more. However, we will monitor your page views and will adjust rates at your renewal to reflect your current level of activity.
Where do I find out how many visits my community has?
Go to the STATS button under the my ezboard tab in the Control Center, and find Average Visits per Day. Multiply that number by 30.5 to determine your average monthly page views, which are used to determine the Gold Community price.
All users with an ezSupporter account will have their views deducted from your page view total. This helps to lower your Gold Community Cost - the more ezSupporters that visit your community the lower the cost of Gold for your community.
Does an ezSupporter account come with Gold Community?
Yes - Gold Community comes with one complimentary ezSupporter account for the ezOp (community owner). All other admins must purchase ezSupporter separately.
I have a Gold Community subscription. When am I able to renew?
With any Gold Community subscription you will be able to renew at any point 30 days or less prior to your expiration. Until that time you will not see the option to renew in your Control Center.
If I decide to go Gold, where can I find out how much my community will cost?
Log in to your Control Center and click on the Purchase Services button in the my ezboard tab. Scroll down to the Community Service Options and you'll see the current prices for the different subscription duration. The price is dependent on the average number of page views.
I checked the cost of Gold for my community and it's way more than $30 for 6 months. Why is that?
Your community's cost is directly related to the your average number of page views per month. Any community that's averaging less than 10,000 page views per month is quoted at the base rate. Above 10,000 page views per month you're charged $1 per month for every 5,000 page views you're averaging above the 10,000 base. For example: If you're averaging 50,000 page views per month your 6 month cost is $78.
Only renewing Gold Communities will have the option to pay for a year. Gold Communities receive price breaks when they purchase the package for 12 months. For more pricing information, click here.
